Joseph E. Underwood IV was raised within a United States Marine Military household. His father was a highly decorated Marine Col. Joe successfully attended Southern Califorina College and a very successful Commodities Broker specializing in the precious metals marketplace.

Later he purchased a distributorship for Primestar Satellites. After opening several retail locations he then sold the company to TCI Communications and started his carrer in the construction business following his Grandfather who was a very successful Commercial Developer.

Today Joseph E. Underwood IV is President/Owner of T.U.G. and is directly involved with the development and construction on projects. He has built millions of square feet and specializing in the Self Storage Industry owning 5 facilities in Texas with Investors. Joe is also a member of the Texas Self Storage Association. (T.S.S.A.)

Steve graduated with honors from UMASS, Amherst Ma with a BBA, Accounting  major, acquired Massachusetts CPA license in 1984, worked (3) years for a public accounting firm, 1981 -1984.

In 1985 – 1989: He became the Comptroller, Vice President & Director of a public retail company in Massachusetts. From 1989 – 1992: Assistant controller for a $100mm international cruise ship gaming company in Miami, FL. Then in 1993 – 2001: was the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Operations for a  tri-state group of (13) radio stations, headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA.

In 2001 – 2002 was the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of a nutritional supplement company and then became the Principal and Controller of a nutritional supplement  company in 2003 - 2006.

2004 – present: Steve is the Controller of Premier Psychological Services, one of the  largest independent psychological practices in Houston, TX., also Steve has been contracted CFO for The Underwood Group since 2010.
